Prairie Landmarks of the Past


Agriculture continues to thrive in the Canadian prairie provinces, but grain is for the most part no longer stored in wooden elevators as in the past. But many of the old structures remain, standing sentinel over the plains. This one, near Drumheller, is in the Red Deer river valley, thus the badlands in the background.
