More Lakes!

The southern interior of BC is simply fabulous. Towering, jagged mountains alternate with deep, spectacular elongated lakes in the valleys over and over as you travel through the region. I believe this one is called Summitt Lake; and naturally, there's a family of Canada geese swimming tranquilly in the foreground.

This is Slocan Lake, viewed from a rest area along the highway. What can you say? The license plates here don't lie...they say "Beautiful British Columbia". They're plugging a new slogan now..."British Columbia-the best place on earth" I won't even argue with that one. It;s bloody well breathtaking here, I reckon!
