A fine Canadian City

I'm in Canada now...good day! Last Saturday, a scorcher in the 90s, was perfect for hanging out on the beach under the ponderosas in the city of Penticton, BC. This is Skaha Lake, at the southern end of town. The water was probably about 68-70 degrees...a little chilly on a cool day, but very refreshing with the temperature in the lower 30s (celsius).

And here's the scene at the northern end of Penticton, on Okanagan Lake. That's right-the city lies between two huge, gorgeous lakes with fine sandy beaches; Skaha and Okanagan are about three miles apart. It's very nice here.
